Hello MISD Parents!
We are looking forward to working with your students starting in fall of 2017! For those of you who have been with us this past year, give us some feedback. We’d love to hear from you on what is working for you and what changes you’d like to see made to the OpenMinds program at your school. Our goal is to listen to what matters most to you and make the necessary changes so we give your students the best experience possible and support you, the parents, in the best ways that we can.
You now have a new payment option, you can make your payment through our website, www.OpenMindsLearnBest.com, choosing any of the blue “Pay Now” buttons on the site. That makes payments even easier for you and you can make them happen on the exact day you’d like to see them take place. We can also continue to run your credit cards automatically for you if you prefer that. Either way is fine. Just send us your updated credit card information if it has changed in the past six months and you want us to run it automatically for you.
The enrollment process for the 2017/2018 school year is as follows:
To enroll for the 2017/2018 school year all new families needs to send out their contact information through this link. If you are an existing family and your contact or dr. information has changed you will want to send it to us through this link as well. You can also use this link to let us know if you’d like to move from the hourly to the monthly plan.
If you are new family with OpenMinds, we will be contacting you to do a short phone interview. We want to talk about what you are looking for in after school time and to get your questions answered. You can reach OpenMinds at 619-665-1264. If you are an existing family you do not need to do this - but I am always happy to talk if you want to talk about the program or your child’s experience.
All families, new and old, will need to complete the paperwork for the new school year found in the link below. All of this paperwork is required to be in before your students start with us, so get on it as quickly as you can. You can send the paperwork to us via email, fax at 619-282-0529, or by hand or mail. Our address is OpenMinds, 4236 Adams Ave, San Diego CA 92116. You can also leave it for us at the MISD office in an envelope labeled “OpenMinds” and we can pick it up there.
You will want to read through the admission information for this new school year and then complete all of the forms within the admissions agreement.
